Singlet? That made me laugh.
My recommendation is for both Women and men. Both genders should wear a helmet. Gloves. Boots. Jacket, preferably with protective armor. At the very least, a rugged pair of jeans, ones that won't flap in the wind.
Never wear shorts or sandals. You can go without a jacket, but if you do, wear a shirt that won't flap around in the wind.

Leather chaps & boots. Jeans, T shirt. Have a leather jacket handy. Helmet is your choice. Good leather gloves. Remember cheap leather = thin leather & while thin leather looks good in the bar, it wont save your skin when sliding down the pavement. Pay a little extra.

Um....I see these guys riding motorcycles and all their clothes say Harley Davidson on them, but I don't know where they got them from....
At the Schwinn Dealership they have those really cool shirts that you can carry a banana in the back of. Is that what your talking about?

virtually any attire will work but ideal would be tight jeans and T-Shirts. Tight Jeans help you feel aleart and tidy.
