You will spend just as much on a scooter as you would if you bought a full size bike, further more you are almost invisible on a scooter. I don't know how many time I've almost ran folks over on scooters.
However i do like the Honda Ruckuss!!! pretty cool for a scooter and it goes off-road.
Don't listen to Harley Queers they are like muslims!!! Stuck in the dark ages. Buy a Victory if you want modern technology in a road bike!!! Last longer, and faster!!! get your head out of yo azz HD!!

Agree about the Satelis. The Exec version has ABS - ignore what technophobes say, it's well worth it. If you want smaller and a bit cheaper, look at the Jetforce 125ABS.

Go with Honda - ultra reliable, dealers everywhere. Speed will depend on the displacement of the engine
