I just got a new gas tank put on. When I tried to drive it the other day it started smoking in the inside of the car through the heating vents(very bad) and there was antifreeze on floor of the drivers side. I want to get the car fixed but I don't know what's wrong. I don't have enough money to take it to the shop for them to see what's wrong with it. it's better if I know the problem then go get it fixed. I can use all the help I can get thanks.

P.S. If you're not going to post serious answers please don't post at all. I do not have the money to purchase a new car so do not say that either.

My Camaro has been mis-firing badly. It idles very rough and get's a "dead miss" usually while accelerating or while climbing hills. I have already replaced the spark plugs, wires and even purchased an ignition coil. I've tried replacing each ignition coil with the new one, but it runs exactly the same each time. I've considered that the problem may be in a idle or throttled related sensor, but whatever is causing this nightmare isn't "throwing a code". Can anyone offer any ideas? I plan to put some Lucas fuel system cleaner in the tank in case any injectors have gotten dirty. Much thanks to any and all responders!

I drive an '06 Toyota Tacoma... I keep the PSI at about 50 for the tires, but one of them loses pressure and gets down to under 30 every 3 weeks or so. At first I thought it was just the colder temperature, and I don't think it's a hole. How can I get it fixed? How much should it cost to fix it? Should I get it replaced?

Thanks!

For the past 2 days, I've had frost forming on the inside of my windshield. This has not happened before (this is a new car) and I'm just wondering how this could happen? I don't know how moisture could be getting in the car. And any tips on how to get rid of it? It takes forever to go away and blocks most of my windshield.. I'm worried it may cause an accident since it blocks so much of my view.

Its a 97 Saturn sl2 with 130,000 miles. In the last six months it has had a new: starter, alternator, battery, radiator and fan belt.
It seems to me what i need to do is find out how many more miles I can expect to get (it's hard to find unbiased info) and consider how much it will be to fix the next issues.
What will be next to go, how much $ and how many miles can I expect to get out of the car? When should I say enough is enough and get a new car? btw money is tight. thanx in advance

This morning my steering wheel started shaking pretty bad while I was going about 45mph. It stopped, and I noticed one of my front wheels had a very strong brake smell coming from it. My brakes are working fine and aren't squeaking, they were replaced about two years ago. Any thoughts?

I bought my car (used) 2 months ago. Before I bought it, I had asked the salesman if this car had ever been in an accident. With his manager next to him, he quickly told me no. So, i believed him. Last week, my car started having transmission problems. I took it in to get fixed, and after I picked it up it seemd to be working fine. The next day, not only was the original problem back, but there was a knocking sound everytime I turned my wheel. My friend who works at another dealership took my car and had his body shop look at it. Turns out, my car HAD been in an accident only a few weeks before I had purchased it. When they put it on a lift, the saw that there was a block of wood screwed in between the subframe and the body, and it was pusing up against my brakeline. The subframe was new, it still has the sticker one it, so this was something the dealership did. Anyways, I want to sue the dealership, but is it going to be worth it? And what are the steps I need to take?

Is it okay to have an intercooler in your car without haveing a turbo or a supercharger? Or is an intercooler just another form of cooling down your car? Because I think I may get an intercooler now and get a turbo later, because I see a turbo very close in my future.

background info: 93 mazda mx6, high miles, fairly new fuel pump, new plugs, new wires, new disti, new disti cap.

hints: coolant reservoir looks almost empty, oil is low.
Everything electrical is fine, new battery clean terminals. Pump turns on with ignition, bright lights on dash. lots of crank.

Also, last week the car wouldn't start on hills, so i replaced the fuel filter and bam it started on a dime. But 3 days ago when i booted her up, it was idleing at 3000 rpm! The most i've ever seen in cold weather was 2000...when i drove that day, i noticed it was boggin down a bit when i was giving it more gas. The next day the temp dropped very far below freezing.

Could it be clogged fuel injectors or should i put antifreeze in the gas tank?
Or could it be the thermostat...pcm or egr? Also please explain in detail how to replace or clean parts per your suggestion...would help a lot :)

thanks

It appears that I need new rear shocks because someone hit the back of my wheel. I have a 2004 Toyota Solara and shocks is running between $900(self owned) and $1200(dealer). This condition is wearing my back tires out quick. I have bought two set of used tires is 3 months and they keep going ball. Also my steering wheel is off and the back of my car wiggles when I go over a bump or rain out side. I cant afford them right now. Some people say I just need an allignment. The dealer claim they cant do an alignment without doing the whole job. Is that true? Is it safe ? For some reason I think if I get an allignment it will fix the problem.

I need to change the oil but have never done it before. I dont want to take it to someone for them to do it. I want to learn to do it myself. Can anyone give me tips on changing the oil. My oil is really bad. The oil has not been changed since at least February of this year. Do i just let the oil drain and then put in new oil or do i have to clean out the engine some how? If so how do i do it. A mechanic told me that sometimes when you go to one of the express oil change places after they change your oil your engine can lock up, is this true? I dont want to mess up my engine. Please help, any advice would be appreciated.

There is loss of water in the radiator every morning. I just had a top overhaul of my 96 civic. Did hydro test and they said there was no crack on the cylinder head. I changed the cylynder head gasket. have the top resurfaced. But when i checked this morning after driving i again had to put 2 glasses of water to add to the radiator. What can be the problem? Is that normal?
