I bought a peugeot 206 1.4l, 2002, a few months ago. The brakes were squeaking so I took it to a garage who recommended changing the front discs and pads, which I did. A week later they have started sqeaking again! What is the problem, and is it expensive to fix?

I have a Nissan Pathfinder 1991 3.0 4WD. Recently, the electrics have been going kookookaka. I am curious what it could be. The battery is new as are the battery connections. All electrics in the cars work fine but when i go to turn the ignition there is nothing.

spark plugs? altenator? starter?
how often do the above listed items need replacement?

I have a 2001 Saturn that just started to have an interesting problem. It is really cold out (-10 celsius or more) as of yesterday, and when I was on my way home from work, I went to clean the salt from my windshield, and the wipers went up and started to work, but were only inching up a bit at a time. They stopped halfway up and would not move further. I thought something may be frozen, so brought it into my heated garage overnight. This morning, they moved fine in the garage and for few minutes after, then after 10min on the highway, they started acting up again. The fluid is not frozen, squirts fine and is -45 rated. The motor sounds like it is trying to move the wipers and I see minor pressure on them, they just dont go smooth. Any ideas?

I'm taking it in to my dealer tomorrow to have them check it, but wanted to see if anyone else heard of this behavior or had to have their GM car fixed for same issue. I'll let everyone know the solution when I hear from the garage.

Hi

My car is getting all fogged up..on all the four inside windows, especially the backseat windows!
The defroster works fine on the Front windshield and on the Back Window, when I turn on the defroster and put heater..

The climate is pretty cold (in MN). I understand the reasons for this condensation by breathing..may be bad heat core etc..

I also knew about..opening a window slit open or turning on AC ( NO AC in my car..), NOT recirculating the same air, removing the dampness etc..
Nothing worked!

I heard about Rain-X...
I need some suggestions on.. if I can use it...as per my requirements I just specified...for window fogging...
or is it just during rain time?

Also, if I don't feel comfortable using Rain X, is there a way to remove the coat....other than waiting for it to ...wear off after several months/days....

thanks! appreciate the help

I have a mini van and the sliding door will not open unless I climb in and put all my body weight on it. It has been below freezing here and I think that is why. BUT, even after warming up the car for 20 min and driving it for about 30 more, it still doenst want to open. What do you think is the problem and can I use cooking spray?

I have a '93 Saturn SC2 and this is my 3rd winter with it. I never had this problem before. This morning it wouldn't start, and the day after the last big snow we had in December, it wouldn't either. The last time the shop told me I just needed to replace the spark plugs and I flooded the engine so they gave me an oil change and tune up. That's it. But today it did it again. It will try to turn over but it's as if the gas isn't getting to the engine or it's not sparking or something. Cause it does try to start but just doesn't make it. Like it's struggling. I wouldn't think I would need new spark plugs again when it's only been a little over a month. Why is this happening, what could it be and what can I do to prevent it?
Also, how do I prevent flooding the engine? How many times can I try to start the car and not flood it? I shouldn't push the gas when I do either right?
I appreciate any help with this from anyone.

The ignition won't move! I've turned the wheel back and forth - it's not locked when it normally locks, I tried to take it out of park, but it won't budge. It won't do anything! What else can I try?
