fitted new wiper motor on ford galaxy,ok.but when c0nnected to linkage which works nothing happens ?,?

except the wipers will move about 4inches and stop.have tried with wipers on and off,not seized,have tried with motor in start position and various other ways.

I connection to motor not making good contact.

better check the pivots where the arms connect. sounds to me like something is stripped.
