I have an old Landrover Defender 110, 8 cyl gasoline. When climbing hills or accelerating, the engine sputters & misses. Engine smooths out when cruising on level terrain. Also doesn't have as much power as it should. What are the most likely problems, so I can start diagnosing & ruling things out until I have the bugger humming along again? (I love the old hulking beast)

I have a 98 Chrysler Sebring convertible. Recently the battery is dead after leaving it for about 2 hours. Always jump starts. The Sears guy used a battery tester and said it looks ok. Also did not show any short circuit on his tester. Said give it a long drive. Went for a long drive and left it overnight. Next morning the battery is dead.

I decided to repeat but to pull the fuses one by one overnight. Pulled fuse #4 for the interior, vanity, radio, etc. left overnight. This morning, car started. I also used meter to check voltage. The first overnight when it was dead, the voltage read 8.5v. This morning when it started, it read 12.6v.

Reason for pulling #4 first was the instrument panel light now shows "deck" (CD deck?). Manual has no mention of this display.

1) like to figure out what is shorting off that fuse. Any suggestions? 2) any hints on how to pull radio/deck cluster out of the dash? Don't see screws.

A site suggestion is also good.

The truck is a V6 auto, and it broke down; wouldn't go anywhere. I replaced the servo seal but there is still no reverse or forward gears. Could this be the pump?

hi guys i know a little about my truck but cant figure out why it stopped running one day i had the belts replaced timing belt and all but after he put them on it still was running sluggish it had no power. then i started it one day and it died in a slow way it just would not gas up nothing can someone help please im desperate we have no transportation to the docters or nothing .

I took my car up to auto zone and they told me i have a cylinder #5 misfire. I'm going to replace all the plugs but i wanted to know how to figure out which one cylinder #5 is? Also how hard is replacing the coil packs?

It went on after I had my oil changed. I need a new air filter which I will get today. I checked the gas cap and no air in the gas line. I never had a problem with the car...it runs great. 50K miles. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

I bough my car over 3 months ago now, and I had the car yard put a coat of this protective sealant on the car so the paint doesn't fade. I just want to know if it's safe to take my car to a car wash (as there is new laws recently imposed on water restrictions)?
Will it destroy the protective sealant?

after one incident where i stepped on the break very hard i noticed that my car started to vibrate when i'm driving from 65mph and faster. i had my tires alligned and balanced but the vibration is not completely eliminated. my front tires and rear tires are different in terms of brand name. the tires have 32000miles or 1.5 years in it. pls help!
