GMC safari. Do you add transmission fluid into where the test stick goes or what? 'cause I couldn't find another place to add it.

Ok i have a fairly new car. It has been running fine since i have had it. I recently got an oil change and ever since then my car has been bucking when ever i use the heat or air in my car. But it only does it when i am at a stop or acclerating to go from a stop. Its not a huge bad buck, but it is noticable enough to make me wonder what it is. I really don't wanna bring it in if it is nothing but i wanna make sure my car is not going to fall out on me. But sometimes (very few times) it does it when its not on (the heat or the air). But it only started after i got an oil change. Could it be the weather too. It is now getting cold from being hot. I am not sure. I rly don't know to much about cars. If anyone can help with this plz help me. Thanks!

I have a 96 Saturn. The radiator is leaking and I was wondering what the average cost to fix it would be? And, someone told me that they were watching Mythbusters and they had a "temporary fix" on the show. They said it was a common household product but couldnt remember exactly what. Does anybody know?

I live in Michigan. On really cold nights/days I get my car door open but then it won't latch shut. The latches work when it's warmer with no problem. What can I spray into the mechanism that will keep this from happening. I end up having to wait a very long time before I get the door shut. After a time, I just want to kick the door to death because I'm so frustrated that it won't close.

I have a 1992 Nissan Sentra. It's a small 4 cylinder car. It runs great but the gas mileage is horrible. What could be causing the problem?

I'm just a girl and all but I seriously thought this was an impossibility. I always thought the hot air from the engine block was drawn in automatically when the heater gets turned on. Instead yesterday and today all I got was freezing cold air.

The AC worked fine. I tried it yesterday afternoon. Is this something as simple as a blown fuse or could it be something worse?

We are building a new building and have cleaned the floors with deck brushes, mops, and cleaners like Simply Green, etc. We just can't seem to get up the tire track stains!

I've never had any of the used cars I've bought inspected and haven't had any problems but I'm helping my buddy buy his first car and I think it would be a good idea. What should I tell him to ask the mechanic?

do they use the EXACT paint for your car or can they somehow colour match? What if the paint on your car is a metalic type?
Is it usually quite noticeable if they just colour match?

I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla LE, Can someone reccomend which brand alternator that I should buy? I've read that I should not buy a cheap remanufactured alternator ($95.99) because people say that they just don't last! So what exactly should I look for? People have said that with a remanufactured alternator you never really know who even remanufactured it. Do you guys think I'd be safe to purchase a remanufactured alternator from Advance Auto Parts? Still the question remains...what brand and what to look for...someone please help me here.

My father runs a Reliant Robin and one of his spark plugs keeps oiling up. As a short term measure (until I can get round to taking the head off for him) I wonder if any body knows which short reach plug I could use to replace a "CHAMPION RN12YC "

1995 Toyota Camry

I have no dash lights visible when car is turned on, but here's a full description of whats happening: Literally overnight everything went crazy, I started up my car fine and drove to work and when I parked up I noticed my car revs itself when in park or neutral between 1500 and 2500. When in gear, it stays a constant 2000 revs and will move itself without pushing the accelerator.

It also changes gear terribly, obviously since its reving when changing between Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive, however it seems to particuarly hate being put in Reverse. This problem is not appearant when driving normally, but reappers again as 'jerking' when slowing down for lights, corners, etc.

Several people I've talked to suggested it's a vacuum leak, could someone give me ideas how to diagnose and fix this? Any other ideas? I've heard this is relatively common in Camry's so any help or experience would be appreciated =)
