I've run out of car windscreen screenwash. What houshold chemicals can I mix together to make some?

Use white vinegar it's a great degreasant

Just a few drops of washing up liquid will help get rid of the grease and grime picked up on the roads. Be careful not to put too much in or it will make lots of suds.
I find it better than the usual windscreen cleaner.

Pour plenty of chip-shop vinegar onto two large chips, then affix these to your windscreen!

Not only is this an individualistic and decorative solution to your problem but- if you break down in some remote location- it provides you with sustenance until help arrives!

(TIP- the chips can be re-heated by placing them on top of your engine before it cools...)

two teaspoons of washing up liquid to one table spoon of vinegar the washing up liquid is a detergent and the vinegar is acetic acid that will remove bits of rubber deposites

Use some car shampoo, but dont use washing up liquid this is full of salt and will rust your car very quickly.
