Brake lights stay on tink it is the switch where is the switch?

Usually at the top end of the brake pedal.

Brake light switch is normally mounted on a small bracket usually welded to the steering column. When you step on the pedal the normally open switch closes. :-)=

Depends on what type of car!
Most though are on the brake pedal, at the very top under the dash.
