today was the worst day of my life first i couldn't get the battery out then when i did i install it backward so i put + on - and - on plus and when i did i saw an small spark then i tried to turn it on it wouldn't start found the fuse made it start but all the lights were off the radio the brake light everything i couldn't even move the car does anybody know what i should do??is it the fuse??ooo i have 1998 toyota rav 4 please help

Ok, I am selling my 98 Trans Am Ls1 In hopes of buying a late year 300zx, and fixing it up, and I am wondering how much approximately it would be to do the following installations.

New Engine
Exhaust
Stage 4 Clutch
Headers
150 Shot Wet Nos
New Rims
Body Kit

I am trying to keep it under the $1,700 (u.s. dollars) price range.

Ok, I pulled the engine trouble code of 15 from the check engine light by temp shorting terminals A & B. Truck sat for several months and now I'm getting it ready for winter. It cranks fine, after warming up and idling for at least 8-10 minutes it just stops. Now, it will NOT start after that unless I let it sit for several hours. But then it does the same thing. I've driven it down the gas station and filled the half tank full of premium, drove home and it conked out as I got home. I've started it at least 5 times now with the same results. Started with new air filter, PCV valve... have new fuel filter to do this weekend. Again, the trouble code is 1 blink, pause, then 5 blinks which from what I can make... it has to do with the coolant temp sensor reading "below" a min value rating. is this the reason it won't start back up until I wait just about all day? Sorry for it being so long but any help would be greatly appreciated.

The headlights on our cadillac are really dual the light barley comes through. What product do you recomend I use to clean them up? Does anybody else have this problem?

Starter, alternator and battery were replaced recently. When I try to restart, it sounds as though it's turning over but it doesn't.

Passed inspection. Told them to take out old antifreeze and put new in. The next day I checked oil etc. and checked radiator and overflow. The overflow was bone dry and when I took cap off there was a light brown greasy stuff on the cap inside, couldn't see any antifreeze in it so I added about 1/2 gal. water and put some in over flow and this brown stuff was in that also and it looked like clear water. Does it sound like they put new antifreeze in it? Checked my oil and dip stick showed that it was right on line. Thanks

When brake is pressed a slight vibration but brakes are not very good. Brake pads are good. Rotors are good. Brake peddel is firm when pressed. Help!!

I was done with my car, but I still had to return my deposit from Sears... So I went back there yesterday, 20-30 minutes in lane and there we go... I asked for my money back.Lady said no problem but they have to charge me 15% restocking fee!!! I was mad! I asked her what a hell they gonna restock??? Because I didn't order anything and whatever thay ordered not in stock at all!!! So I spoke to another guy after that (15 minutes I ws waiting while he was on a phone) and he told that I have to come back next day and talk to the manager. I said OK. I dont want to go back there again. I'm tired of there service. I dont feel like I have to go there 5 times for nothing.
Now I'm browsing I-net and looking for a lawer in Consumer protection law....
Do u think I'm right? If anybody have any bright ideas I appreciate it.
ps. At other place they done my axles cheaper and faster...
and thanks God I bought those wiper blades otherwise I would never notice that fraud.

My new car is deeply scratched with a key. Propably some irresponsible person did this to drive me crazy. The Scratches are all along the side vertically and horizonatally. Oh its awaful!
Is there any way or any product that can remove these scratches without leaving any prints?

trans 29 yrs old, serviced 20 yrs.ago ,fluid smells . It is worse now,trans not abused 3-5 second delay, when warm 3 minutes ok? service again (risk failure] or wait for total failure?

My car's radiator is leaking, engine got heated up as there was no coolant left, I ordered a new radiator but to make sure engine dont burn itself I have put plain water instead of coolant until I receive my radiator, now I see I dont get heat in my car, may be because water is not good at transfering heat to heating coil or do I need to get my heating system checked ?
I dont remember whether it was working or not when there was no leak in the radiator!

the right side light does'nt work i thought it was the bulb although it was blown i install a new bulb the light does'nt work,I check for current there was none i checked for ground and the both wires have ground.

Some guy wanna sell 95 Wagon ex (about 150k on it) with all options for 1900 and the only problem suposedly being slipping auto transmission. Even if I can talk it down to 1500 is it worth it? Is it possible to replace maybe with 5 speed manual? Thanx.

on my 1975 chevy 3/4 ton on the rear wheels the small round thing with bolts in the center of the rim, I opened that up and a bunch of fluid came out, i put the cover back on and bolted it on and now it leakes, what should I do, i tryed silicone but its always leaking so it wont stick. I think it was brake fluid that came out and I still do have brakes.

i put a new street 600cfm ontop of my 383 magnum. i was tuning it and trying to tune the two a/f needles. i was tuning it like this...turn right til the rpms drop noticably, then turn back left til max. rpm is reached. i am doing it all by ear cause i have a 69 charger with a 727 witch means tic-toc-tac(clock instead of tach) it was working for me by listening for the rpm raise, but then it stopped sounding like the rpms were raising when i tried tuning it again allittle while later after i adjusted the float level.. i seated the needle and still no rpm drop??? anywho... i have to go somewhere tomarrow so whats wrong and how many turns out from seated could i put it at as a rough tune, so to speak, so i can drive it w/o it leaning out or flooding??thanks..
