mr delorian hade a car plant that was his owm and the car was cloned in spokane washington,and only 500 were made,the stainless steel body and aluminum and metal frame were made in a large building that was not know to but a few men and women who worked there.after he lost his contract and the bottom fell out of the stock market,he disolved his company and went on doing aircraft design for and engenering,for a private aircraft buider in california and then went to austrailia to continue his automotive dreams.
