Ok Yep definitly the sighns of a bad day, however its probably not as bad as you are under the impression it is, first doubt you caused any damage to your ECM ( computer) Check your ground wires going from the starter to the frame and from the battery to the frame/starter chances are you have burnt them to no repair , after that if you still have no power you need to check the fusible link if none of the above work E-mail me and will be happy to walk you through the diagnostic process..

Girl, this not sound good. Try disconnecting one battery cable and wait 5-10 minutes and see if it work. This could be bad, I really hate to say it. Try checking Fuses. If, you have an owners manual it show where they are. I hope you did not mess something up. IF, you were close I would look at it, but, I doubt it can happen. Tomorrow or when the Dealer open call the service department and ask them what may have happened. Tell them someone else did it like your neighbor.

try asking a friend to "jack" it for you? might work... my rav 4 batteries have died on me a couple of times, and it's always good to have it replaced by professionals for your safety =) if you need to move the car and it's an automatic, try pushing the button at the side of the stick shift and slide it onto N (neutral).

the chances are, that u only blew a fuse. depends which one and where. in your car there are three fuse boxes depending on your model type.. 2 are usually under the hood and ones inside next to the hood latch...check your fuses, usually that's what happens.

You need to put the battery in the right way,( connected right) then see if you have blown any fuses. If you have blown any replace the ones that have been blown.
