I have a 1997 Plymouth Breeze. Is it possible to replace the 4-speed manual transmission it currently has with a manual?

If so, around how much will parts and labor cost to perform this replacement?

I have a 1991 Chevey s10 2.5, 4 cylinder, throttle body fuel injection model 700, I took it off to clean it and I forgot where the hoses go on the left bottom side there are 3 each one a different size, one is a vacuum which is the biggest it is in the center of the 3 the second on the other side is a little smaller and the third is even smaller and they are pushing air out. There is a steel tube comming from the engine that hooks to one of them and two rubber hoses comming from the air cleaner components that hook to it. I tried to hook them up to their sizes, but they are just to close to be for sure and when I tried that the truck didn't like it and started to stumble.

That was the advice of someone after I said my '95 Ford Ranger was making a squealing noise (not the brakes, just replaced completely) and now the squealing noise is like ten fold louder after spraying the pulleys. If I do bring it to a mechanic, how much are new bearings going to cost, or better yet, one bearing, if that is the cause of the squealing noise?

Something is wrong with the power from my alternator to my battery. My alternator and battery test o.k./the battery is new.

My car broke down in the boonies and it's going to cost about $250 to get it towed to the shop because it's out of my auto clubs towing area.

When I start my car the voltage is 8 and then in about 10 minutes of driving the battery is drained. If I let it sit for about 30 minutes, it recharges and starts again and drives for 10 minutes until all of my lights and power go out.

If I start my car and disconnect the positive cable on my battery, my car runs normally and all the power gauges and voltages are normal. Would it hurt my car or be dangerous to drive it the 20 miles to the shop?

Thanks a lot!

I just got the axels changed and it was driving fine until yesterday. It sounded like metal crunching and now sounds like a constant hum of metal against metal. Could this be my ball bearings? That is what the mechanic that put the axels in said.

I have a 1996 Mustang GT and I had a new battery and battery cables put into it. I never had a problem until then.

My car starts fine but after about 10-15 minutes my battery drains and is dead. If I let it sit for a while it recharges and the car will start and drive again for about 10-15 minutes.

The alternator has been checked and is great, and the battery is new. Any thoughts? Ground problems? Voltage regulator? Let me know what you think!

FYI: I had the battery and cables replaced from normal wear and tear, and the battery was old. Again, the battery is new, the posts are new and the cables are new. The voltage readings are normal for the battery and the Alternator. thanks.

Does anyone have any tricks for removing a stuborn brake drum. I pried off one side with a tire iron, but the passenger side doesn't want to come off. Plus, I don't know EXACTLY what holds it on.
