At red lights people sit in the far right hand lane which is designed for right hand turns then they continue on straight thru the intersection when the light changes. I think many of them are in a hurry so they want to pass traffic but don't they realize at some point they are going to be the ones stuck behind someone doing the same thing holding them up from making a right hand turn.

Here's the situation, I'm traveling in the center lane of a 3 lane highway. I'm doing the posted speed limit (or maybe 5 miles over). The left and right lanes are both open for you to pass me if you choose to do so. Why do you insist on passing me on the right?

What are you thoughts on speed cameras.

Do you think they are a method of government funding or a good way of improving road safety.

Do you know of any examples to back upi your theory.

Do you know of any good websites that can answer my question???

Your help is most appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone took the Metrolink or Amtrak to Thousand Oaks -- don't think there are stations there, so which station you get off at and how you get there (by bus, etc.)? Also if you come from the Los Angeles area, how is the drive/train ride? Which is preferable? Thanks!

I'm currently a college student and in need of a job that pays well and is also flexible around my school schedule. AND, I think I found it. The town itself is not too far from where I live, but the section is hard to get to by public transportation.

As far as transportation, I have a car by I just need to put insurance on it. I wanted to use my credit card to put the insurance, so that I can actually get the job (I REALLY want this job). Then when I get paid I can just pay it off.

So my question to you guys is: Should I put the car insurance on my credit card if I'm guarenteed the job and pay it off when I get paid. Or should I just look for something else.

P.S.:I'm responsible at paying off bills...and I just want the car to get me to school, work, and back home...I dont want it to show off and drive around friends(I have no time for that)

I will work in midtown Manhattan as a trading assistant (hours 7am-7pm). I have a new car and I absolutely love it. Is it possible to live in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Queens, Or Brooklyn (or anywhere feasible) and pay around $1500-1800 or so a month to have a studio or 1 BR with a parking spot (or pay some more and get a house)? I would prefer not to have a roommate and definitely need a parking spot. The area has to be safe and near the transit. Please suggest any neighborhoods, cross roads, or apartment names. I have no problem getting up at 5:30am and spending 1h in travel time. THANKS!!!

We pay so much money in taxes and yet the roads, and highways are uneven, and have big potholes? For example some parts of Donner's Pass, and the Grape Vine in California? Where is the money going. Many times I drive by and see five road workers watch one worker dig a hole. Something should be done about the roads!

it does make me mad but i never change the lane no matter how close that person tailgates me. thereafter if i get rear ended by him/her that fvcker will be at fault right? and i also tap on my brake often when i see a jerk tailgating me. the bottom line is why do people have to tailgate why cant they move to other lane if they are in rush to get to thier destination. sometime i feel like getting off the car and beat the heck out of them. thats just me. and i also hate those who dont use thier blinkers while turning. comeon guys be generous.

Want to know pros and cons....since we bought a house at the high end in LA...we are spending close 4 grand for a cracker box house....in Phx we could get more, but then there is the cost of travel to consider if my husband commuted. want to know from people who have done this and/or doing this....is it worth it? We like the pace of life better in AZ and have lived there before.
