Take Interstate 880 North all the way. Depending on what part of SJ you're coming from and what part of Oakland you want to end up in, this is basically the quickest route...If there's no traffic, it'll probably take you 35-45 minutes.

880 is a mess during normal commute hours....northbound is usually more crowded between 3pm and 7pm. As it takes you right by the Colosseum, make sure there's not a Warriors game scheduled, or that will add to your commute.

BART (though you'll need to take something into Fremont first)

The only other way is 880 N, which is crowded during commute hours.

Listen to 740 AM KCBS for traffic, updates every 10 minutes.
