How amazing, Godmanchester being mentioned on here!!

I would imagine it is because it has allot of traffic going through it, (even tho there is a bypass) to get to the A14. Godmanchester gets blocked with traffic most of the day, the bottle neck there causes Huntingdon, The Offords and other places near by to get bottle necked too. I guess Goddy must be the culprit, either that or the motorists should use the bypass provided!

THis is where the traffic from A14 and A1 meets - between Godmanchester and Cambridge (before the A14 meets the M11) the traffic is almost always at crawl during rush hour.

This has come about since the A14 link to the M6 was completed back in the Mid 90's. Basically North west to Harwich traffic and vice verse.
