im getting my first car soon and i really want a bmw, but they're really expensive whats a way to find one really cheap, buying it old with a lot of mile age? and if a car has a lot of mileage then how does it effect the car?

Hello -
I am completely foreign to winter driving and abit nervous; but, I have to see my mother who is very sick. Leaving from LA to PHX then next day PHX to ABQ. I did the drive via Flagstaff a few weeks ago and got hit with a snow storm. Now I'm thinking of going via the 60 (Globe, Show Low, Pie Town) meeting the 25 in Socorro and heading up to ABQ? I have some business in PHX, but money is so tight that I cant do the flights that would make this so easier - but, I really do need to see my Mom. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks in advance ...

So you know what that means. I just want to know, do the gas stations pay more when they receive more fuel. How does it work for them? We can pay up to two to three differant prices in a week. Do they or only when they recieve more fuel, or does it fluctuate for them like it does for us?

I drive a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, 4 cyl., manual transmission. I have noticed lately that the car skids sometimes while turning. It is usually just after I have shifted to second gear and am making a right turn. The speedometer goes up to around 30 (because of the high RPM's) and the tires spin. Then I shift to third and everything is fine. This happens a lot when it is raining lightly. Right now I'm assuming it's either my driving or the roads, but could my car have something to do with it?

I can't afford the train fares any more so have started driving from Letchworth to Chiswick. It took over 2 and a half hours this morning (A1 and A406), can anyone recommend a quicker route? I have to be at Chiswick Roundabout by 08.50 to be at work for 09.00.

We just moved into a stupid gated community but our driveway only fits 2 cars. So, my parents park their cars on it. But there is a stupid rule where you arent allowed to park on the street overnight, so I have to park like half a mile away on another street outside of the community, and every time I want to go somewhere, I have to walk 7 minutes to my car. It gets real annoying, and I am wondering if someone can help me figure out a solution to my problem.
