I'm currently a college student and in need of a job that pays well and is also flexible around my school schedule. AND, I think I found it. The town itself is not too far from where I live, but the section is hard to get to by public transportation.

As far as transportation, I have a car by I just need to put insurance on it. I wanted to use my credit card to put the insurance, so that I can actually get the job (I REALLY want this job). Then when I get paid I can just pay it off.

So my question to you guys is: Should I put the car insurance on my credit card if I'm guarenteed the job and pay it off when I get paid. Or should I just look for something else.

P.S.:I'm responsible at paying off bills...and I just want the car to get me to school, work, and back home...I dont want it to show off and drive around friends(I have no time for that)

As long as you're responsible and pay the bill off in full, I don't see a problem. A car in your situation sounds like a necessity.

first off, get the job first. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON YOUR CREDIT CARD YOU CAN NOT PAY OFF 100% SURE.

second off, is the extra income worth the time and money (insurance, gas, repairs, etc) of owning a car? Chances are not (youre prob looking at about 200+ a month extra for a car).

As far as I know, you can't put insurance on a credit card.

You could take cash out on your credit card, but unless you pay it all off immediately you will be in HUGE financial trouble.

You are better off borrowing the money or asking the car insurance company if you can make the premium in increments.

As long as you are guaranteed the job I don't see any problem with paying your car insurance with your credit card. Just as long as you are sure that you will get the job.
