I have misplaced my owners manual and was wondering if anyone know what a certain symbol on the instrument panel means? It is a box with a wavy line through it and an arrow pointing down.

When i turn off the air there is a whine/sqeal coming from the compressor. When its on its ok. How much more fuel does the air use and is it ok to leave the air on all the time.

I have a Pontiac Grand Am SE with a 3400SFi V6 engine, and would like to put in a supercharger or a turbo. I figured the cheapest way would be to put in a Pontiac GTP Supercharger in my car. I was wondering if anyone knew if this would work?

It is a 95 Pontiac Trans Am, 5.7 V8, 6 speed with a custom short shifter. I recently purchased it as a project car. The car is a monster and runs solid, but I would like to know some things I can do to start building it up more. The car already has a cold air intake instead of Ram Air and the computer has been worked on to remove the Skip Shift Pontiac put in that year. What other small/cheap things can be done to get more out of this engine?

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix and the speedometer stop working, i replaced the cluster and checked all the fuses and it still doesnt work. Everything else works but that. Have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix which is missing the button or switch to activate the hazard lights. It's my 16 year old son's car, so it's kinda necessary for it to have that. Any one know where I can get one cheap? I'm in the Dayton Ohio area

My ABS light is on along with my trac off light and check tire pressure. They all have to do with the abs because I tried to reset the check tire pressure light but it will not reset. I read the manual that came with the car and it says if the check tire pressure light and abs light is on at the same time, they have to do with each other. I have a digital volt/ohm meter. What do I check for to see if the sensors are working?

My 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was total junk and had been in the shop 6 times for various repairs although it only had 36,000 miles when I traded it. My 2007 Hyundai Sonata is a great car, far superior to anything GM makes. The lazy UAW slobs are going to be out of work once people realize that one can buy a great Korean car at a great price. Eat the Sonata's dust, you lazy UAW slobs!!!!!!!!

I bought my car back in early March and it's only been recently that it's been acting up.

Sometimes when I start my car, the radio takes a few seconds to turn on. It'll sit there, dark and no music will come out of the speakers. Then it'll just come on like it had been on the whole time. It's only done this 3 or 4 times and it hasn't been consistant with how I start my car up.

Another time, I turned my car on and the radio was on a completely different station than when I left it. I had been listening to a CD when I turned it off and when I got in, it was on FM radio 2. No one messed with my car because the windows were up and the car locked.

What's going on with my car? Is it serious?

When the car doesn't start, there is no crank. You turn the key, lights come on, the fuel pump engages, but no crank at all. Worse, the car runs great!!! And, when it doesn't start, it will eventually start....anywhere from 3 minutes to 3 hours later.

My 1969 firebird's temperature continually starts to overheat especially when idling. When I put the fan on luke warm air comes out. I just put a new water pump in,new thermostat, and the radiator doesn't leak. I dont have a fan clutch-but I have a flex fan. If I got the radiator flushed out would that work?? HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!
