except it seems to burn alot of gas,,is there something i need to check?? or change out

Swings and roundabouts...you can have smoother running and more power, but the cost is increased fuel consumption. You could make your car twice as fuel efficient, but it would be a b**** to drive.

There on the back manifold it is O2 sensor time Buy a GM one because it has the corect wide range of voltage. I could never get the wires off and back on with out damaging one or two. New Plug wires fresh air filter and replace the fuel filter and you will be set for summer if you get the DEX Cool antifreeze changed The air bleed is on the theromstat housing. Under the engine harness. You must get all the air out so take your time doing cooling system service.

ease off the pedal some. Are you playing alot now since it runs better. gm -change o2 sensor

what is you current fuel mileage?
you may need to install a carburetor kit or simply have it adjusted.
