I bought my car back in early March and it's only been recently that it's been acting up.

Sometimes when I start my car, the radio takes a few seconds to turn on. It'll sit there, dark and no music will come out of the speakers. Then it'll just come on like it had been on the whole time. It's only done this 3 or 4 times and it hasn't been consistant with how I start my car up.

Another time, I turned my car on and the radio was on a completely different station than when I left it. I had been listening to a CD when I turned it off and when I got in, it was on FM radio 2. No one messed with my car because the windows were up and the car locked.

What's going on with my car? Is it serious?

Under warranty get it to a dealership soon. They might have had a car with the same complaint.

What model is the car if it has the key less remote and memory seats does someone else have a key or a similar car in your neighborhood? On some Pontiac's there is a program mode that is set for each key less entry clicker. When I get in my car the radio goes to my stations and when my wife unlocks the doors its set for her stations. That might be the reason why the stations are changing. I have had a key less remote work 2 vehicles before its rare but it can happen. I dont know why the radio would take a bit of time to warm up unless its loading an mp3 cd song?

Take it to your dealer but where it is an intermittent concern, it might be hard for them to find the problem.
If you have 2 key fobs, the personalization settings may be different for each of them & that will cause the radio to have different settings when you start the car.

Dont buy a Pontiac, GM makes total junk. You should have bought a foreign car. You should take the car back to the dealer and demand that they fix everything that is wrong. If they fail to do so, commence an arbitration case against GM. Good luck.
