its not that simple as just removing it. its programmed into your PCM. so you can either have someone reprogram it for you with one of these,

however, that may be very hard to find. so what else could you do? simple. buy one of these.

$100 and your PCM is 10x better. oh and your rev limiter is removed.
good luck

Simply chipping the car will normally remove the limiter. If you really are buying and E63 then simply ask AMG to do it for you before you get the car. They will do, or at least raise it to around the 180mph mark. By law manufacturers like AMG have to keep it within the safety range of the tyres on the car, but aftermarket tuners are not restricted by these conditions. There is nothing to stop anyone with a high performance car taking it to Germany and hitting 200mph on the Autobahn, or heading off down their local runway to see if they can top it out. So to all you who say, you shouldn't...Bah Humbug! We'd all be sitting round the camp fire in our cave if people didn't push the limits a little further.

It is programmed into the ECU, you will have to have the ECU remapped (reprogrammed) to change the top speed limiter.

Even if you could remove it, it would not get to top speed any faster, If you want a faster top speed buy a car that can handle the speed, going fast is one thing but stopping and handling it is something else. Get a Grand Prix 3.8l with super charger.

It is a programmed part of the PCM. The only way to change it is to get an aftermarket program and install it into your car and you can change that to suit what you want. It is a very easy thing to do. Good luck.

Absolutely able to program it out.
Use HP Tuners, you can do alot more than just remove the 110mph limiter.
