My uncle has vibe that he drives for work. He really likes it and says its a great car and gets good mileage. The only thing he doesn't like is everyone calls it cute.

Pontiac Vibe was a joint venture between Pontiac (GM) and Toyota. The engine is going to be very reliable while having the power that Americans crave.

It is basically the same car as the toyota matrix, but with American style (I think the vibe is much more appealing then the matrix look wise). It was a joint venture between GM and Toyota. The engine is a 1.8l Toyota engine, and is very reliable. It's an interesting purchase choice if you want the reliability of a toyota while still supporting an american company.
If you look at consumer reports you'll see it is the highest rated wagon.
I would highly recommend it, in fact I just purchased one :).

I wouldn't buy one because of the name. Vibe. Sounds pornographic.
