95 Pontiac Firebird, 3.4l catalytic converter cloged replaced evall I could tell was bad but it still runs bad

I change the Plugs, Plug wires, EGR
Any Ideas?
Wiring has some excessive heated areas but it looks to still be OK

What people don't understand running a motor with a clogged cat will cause pieces of the old cat to be blown back into the engine no where for the exhaust to go. Some melted wires how about all the exhaust that got glowing hot. Remove all the plugs and run a compression test before you spend any more money and time with that motor.
