I have a 91 Maxima with the VG30E engine in it, i was wondering if it is possible to put the VG30DE in to replace it without too much of a hassle. The VG30DE came in 92-94 Maxima SE. I have an automatic transmission. Would i need to change out a bunch of things or would it be minor replacements like the crossmember and motor mounts?

My heater worked fine until about 1 week ago, then it started going from hot to blowing luke warm or cold air. If I waited a while, it might start blowing hot again. Today, my gauge started going bonkers, normal to hot and back, cycling through this way about every minute or two. The fan seems to be coming on fine. It will run hot or normal regardless of whether I'm going 60 down the highway or idling at a red light. Thermostat problem?

i have a 89 nissan maxima and one of the radiator hoses is leaking drop at a time...i've already had to put half a bottle of prestone in it...i have to drive this thing across the state tomorrow! i have a job interview! is there any way to quickly fixed this? i'm seriously thinking about busting out the duct tape...omg i'm doomed...please helP!

I have a 1994 Nissan Maxima, and the brake lights will not shut off even when the car is off. I unlpugged the battery so it doesn't die but I am wondering what is causing this? I read somewhere that there is a switch under the brake pedal that might be stuck? I did not feel a switch under the pedal, and wondering if that only applies to newer cars. I am a chick but pretty good with fixing stuff and have no money to go to a mechanic for atleast 2 months. Please help :)

It only sqeals just after starting it I tried belt grease but

Ever since I can remember the front passenger side is lower than the right side. This makes the rear driver side higher than the other side. It pretty much sits uneven and I have seen other Hard Bodies with this same problen. . It really doesn't affect it's driveability, but it sure is irritating. I've asked around, but haven't gotten back the right answer. The truck has 200k and I plan to drive it another 200k, but I'd rather do it in a truck that sits level. Any guesses out there on how I can fix this? Thank you in advance. Take care

I know all of the regular fixes--properly inflated tires, air filter, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, new spark plugs, new cap and rotor, etc. What I'm looking for is any other ideas or someone who has had this happen to them before. I'm losing up to 50 miles a tank...I used to be able to make 300+ miles on one tank of gas, now I rarely pass 260 miles. I've even tried some injector cleaner. The engine light isn't on, and Autozone won't run the free diagnostic unless there's a light, so I haven't been able to check for any codes yet. Anyone?

Oh...this is for a 1999 4-cylinder Altima, bone-stock, close to 95,000 miles (but exceptionally maintained).

I have a 92 Maxima - During cold mornings when i try and start my car there is a choke,grinding noise for about 2 seconds and then it starts. The sound reminds me of when a car is already started adn you turn the Key again to start it - yea that kinda sound. This only happenes in cold weather.

there arent n e of those hydrolyc arms in there im not sure if it comes with that, but the trunk operates just fine unill you go to close it, it just fals and slams shut , help
