It should be front wheel drive, and have a transversely mounted engine (from side to side). Jack your vehicle up so you can look under it, at the drive train between your rear wheels (if it's rear whell drive) you will have a differential, with two shafts coming out of it towards the center of the rear wheels, and a shaft coming from the transmission to the differential. When you turn one rear wheel the other should also turn, probably in the opposite direction of the one you're turning.

If it has a drive shaft going to rear of car, then it is a rear wheel drive car, if it does not then it is front wheel drive, if the engine is facing the fenders, like east and west, i would say it is front wheel drive.

Front wheel drive. Look underneath vehicle for the 'drive shafts' going to the wheels.

front wheel drive engines have are very squished and is very little space to work on the engine because everything is in the front of the car... rear wheel engines are much roomier..

it's front wheel drive. you can check by looking at the motor, if it runs front to back its rear wheel if side to side it front wheel.
