I was trying to check the VIN # to see if I could find out which model this xterra is but I have had no luck. I had decoded the VIN but it doesn't say the model. The SUV doesn't have on it anywhere what model it is either. Any motor heads out there that can help 5N1=made in USA; E=VE30DE, GA16DE, or VG33E; D2=Exterra; 8=Xterra etc.

I know it's not perfect, but overall, is it a reliable and good vehicle for families? I want some space in the back too, which is why I want to get a truck.

Heater only works on defrost, no matter which button is pushed. I need a complete vacuum diagram, as well as component list and locations. I have tried various web sites, book stores, etc., but can't seem to find what i need, and here in Reno, NV, it is getting pretty darn cold with no heat going to the floorboards.

It is possible to drive but ultimately will brake the car to a complete stop if no peddle is applied. Thank you.

i have a 2005 nissan x-trail with sandard fit bird eye sat nav which is now out of date. i am looking to update it to latest spec ie. 2007 model to include all new roads etc. i am sure it is only a case of inserting a new cd. nissan dealer says updates come out every couple of years and they cost upward of £300 which is riddiculous. any help appreciated

I have a Nissan altima 98 and I have head gasket leaks of antifreeze. A friend of mine recommend me to use some products that can fix this problem before changing the gasket. I want to know which the best of them, where to find it and what is the procedure. At the same time i need to know what is the possible cause for it. I have seen that the fans of my car work very, very often. Is it a symptom that the engine is overheated and what can i do?
thank you
