Good performance, handling and good after market for performance parts. The 350Z is a great car to modify and drive. I would check out the 350Z section of http://forums.nicoclub.com

The 350Z is already sporty and aerodynamic...so just with some rims and better tires...a good sound system...you already have a sweet ride but if you want to upgrade the performance...a super or turbocharger, dual exhaust with chrome or carbon fibre pipes, and upgraded engine management will do the trick...I've seen some sweet Z's , putting out 500 horses easy....since the cars are light ....it makes the accleration real quick.
Check out some magazines like Import Tuner and see what is possible...basically the sky is the limit as far as aftermarket products and acessories....it all depends on what type of imcome you got....if I had a 350Z....the HKS turbo, a Bombex bodykit, and carbon fibre hood with racing mirrors would be definite purchases...the only drawback is this model has already been modified by others to death...you will have to find a way to stand out...possibly by picking a unique paint job and graphics.

Modifying that car shouldn't be a problem either. You can lookup some Import Tuners online or check your phone book to see dealers. Learning to drive with the 350z is probably what you dont wanna do lol just because you should learn the principles of driving on a much cheaper car before you ding up something expensive. Nevertheless, They're awesome cars!

The best stock handling car you can drive. Sway bars and then it is race track ready. If you can afford get Brembo brake 350z. Headers exhaust intake manifold good for 50 horses. Or Stillen supercharger, Greedy Trubos? So much safer than an old skyline GTR. Z has side curtain air bags seat air bags some models, drs and passenger air bags. Custom wheels Bridgstone RE-010 super performance tires and your super ready.

yes and no. it is a great car right off the lot. hp got bumped to 300 in 06 and i believe gets another mild boost in 07. handling is superb and even non-brembo brakes are great since 06. the only reason why i say no is because the car is so well built, it is extremely hard to get any significant power gains unless you go forced-induction (turbo/supercharger) which can get very expensive. even non-FI mods will run you higher than the average sports coupe. if you're looking for looks, the car is so beautiful you don't want to mess with it by adding cheap chrome or anything like that. in other words - $$$. if you can afford it, this is the car to get. easily the best bang for your buck this side of the corvette.

I'd get a G35. It's practicaly the same car (weighs a little over 100 lbs more but has better weight distribution) and it has back seats. Plus, am I the only one who thinks the G35 looks better than the 350Z?
