its a 2000x plate and when does the belts require changing

the o/d light indicate overdrive is "OFF". if you want to overdrive "ON", then you need to hit the botton on shift knob!!

overdrive is a gearset in which the output shaft turns faster than the input shaft. Overdrive gears are used in most modern transmissions because they reduce engine rpm and improve fuel economy. Occasionally, a separate gearbox with an overdrive gearset is coupled to a conventional transmission.

The switch is that button on the shifter knob experment. When traveling 100 km push and watch the RPM's OD off light is for in town and light off is for Highway. Just leave OD on for best diesel mileage. Or when heavily loaded turn it off for hills.

I HAD A NISSAN BEFORE. THERES A LITTLE BUTTON ON THE SHIFT KNOB ( WHEN U CHANGE YOUR CAR FROM NEUTRAL TO DRIVE) U MUST HAVE HIT IT BY MISTAKE. JUST PRESS IT AGAIN AND IT SHOULD GO OFF.
