Ever since I can remember the front passenger side is lower than the right side. This makes the rear driver side higher than the other side. It pretty much sits uneven and I have seen other Hard Bodies with this same problen. . It really doesn't affect it's driveability, but it sure is irritating. I've asked around, but haven't gotten back the right answer. The truck has 200k and I plan to drive it another 200k, but I'd rather do it in a truck that sits level. Any guesses out there on how I can fix this? Thank you in advance. Take care

What all have you checked on the truck? I would make sure that the suspension, springs/shocks/struts are all adjusted correctly.

For more information, I would hit up http://forums.nicoclub.com

How much difference is there in the height of the passenger side and driver side? If its a common problem among these vehicles you can usually find leveling kits to solve it. Find out about the difference between the two sides by measuring from the bottom of the bumper to the ground on the drivers then passengers side then subtract and there's your difference in inches. If its about 1 1/2" inches then get a spring helper for the passenger side and either another spring helper or a coil spring spacer. Might throw off the ride a little bit since you're only shoring up one side and not the other but it'll be level.

I saw a problem like this on a dodge pickup and it turned out the fuel tank was causing the problem. It was mounted directly below the driver.

Sounds like you need new springs and bushings. Both for the body and suspension.
