I had the same problem with my 1987 Chevy Caprice Classic. If it has been a while, I would replace the distributor cap and the rotor.
For good information, I would hit up http://forums.nicoclub.com

You didn't go far enough with what you replaced. Do not buy aftermarket products, they don't last. Buy a Nissan cap, rotor and ign wires. If the dealer doesn't have the correct Nissan parts ---then don't buy them. your cap and rotor are you problem. The cap allows moisture to enter and shorts out the plug fire. Why replace all three? It makes a matched set.

It does sound like moisture in the cap.... You could start with a good spray of WD40 inside the cap and make sure th cap is seated well. Of course the best bet is a new cap and rotor. ;-)

Any time you replace the wires, you should replace the cap and rotor, and plugs. It could be that you have a vacuum leak also.
