I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima (running strong at 202,000 miles!) that has the keypad entry system built into the door handles. The guy I bought it from gave me the security code, but I dont have a owner's manual to get the procedures. Does anyone know how to work this thing?

I am moving to a town that has a nissan dealership there and i want to try to get a job there and i was wondering what the best way to go about it was...my goal is to be a tech but seeing how i dont have any certifications or work related experience i dont know how thats going to happen, i dont know if they have an apprentice program or not and even if they do im sure the slots fill up fast. i spoke with a guy who said he did it by applying as a lube tech and within a few months he was working as a full time technician. thanks for your help.

I preferred Oldsmobiles but since they're no longer made what comes close.
I once had an Altima, as a rental. My only regret was I had to turn it in.
Is an Altima equal to or better than an Olds, What do you think? All opinions welcome.
Or should I get a Ford.

I'm in the market for a new car and am considering buying a Nissan Versa, which comes with CVT instead of automatic for its more equipped model. Every car I've ever had has been an automatic, as I am not able to drive manual transmission (I've tried, but no one has been patient enough to teach me.) I'm wondering if CVT has a learning curve or is it just like automatic transmission?

I have a 1997 nissan sentra and the engine light turned on, Firestone said the code P0500 in the diagnostics revealed speed sensor replacement. is this a valid concern that needs to be done right away? They will charge me $158.00 for the labor and parts, is this within normal range to change speed sensors? I decided not to have them do the job just yet, the car seems to work ok so far, but I am just wary how long I should postpone the replacement. Is the speed sensors related to the cruise control features of the car, can I live without having the sensors changed? HELP!

Had my brake pads ( front and rear ) replaced last September ..have noticed in the last few weeks that there is a grinding sound coming from the rear of the car when I apply the brakes.I can also hear a click sound from them when I use the brakes car after it has been standing overnight...this stops after a while...I've taken the car back to the garage and they have replaced the rear pads under warranty and they have been ok for a few weeks now the grinding/clicking is back..

Thanks
