I'd go with the Z personally but compare the two as even as you can.

GT lower insurance since it is not classified as a sports car by insurance standards(4 seater vs 2 seater)
Z much better corner handling
GT loud growling muscle car engine, Z is much quieter
Z faster 0-60 but only by milleseconds
GT more creature comforts, slightly nicer interior.
Z parts cost roughly twice as much but tends to be more reliable (mustangs have always had problems with transmissions in the long run)
GT has a more smooth ride, Z is more stiff hence the better cornering
Z typically has better gas mileage but not by much

You will find more of the younger generations driving the GT's while Z owners tend to be older in comparison.

Both ar fun driving cars, popular, stylish and affordable so start writing down your favorite aspects of cars you have previously owned or driven and see which of the two gets more of those features. Or just find the one that has your favorite color if you want a simple choice.

Whichever you pick make sure it's a manual transmission, automatics just take all the fun out of any sports car.

You just have to do your research on both vehicles. Find out which one is best for you. The 350 will cost you more on insurance but it will get you more looks and there are more add-ons for the 350 than the mustang. I also do believe that the 350 has a possy. rear. This can cause issues while driving in the rain or snow, or even on gravel. I am part of the Z family with the 300ZX I own. Friends of mine do own 350s but another thing you should know, If the 350 breaks, which there is a possibility since its not new, it will cost you more to fix the 350 then it would the mustang even if it was the same problem. Hope this somewhat helps.

I am bisaed I own a 2006 Pontiac GTO however I work for Nissan. Mussle Car or Sports Car? And if you buy a Mustang GT you will want a Cobra. The 350Z Track Model has all the stuff already. just add sway bars and your track road race ready. Just try to get a mustang to go around a corner. The GTO is Foreign and I added exhaust sway bars computer upgrades and with another set of wheels carve up the track too.

I would normally say the Z since it's a great performance car with Nissan reliability, HOWEVER, its only a 2 seater. So the more practical vehicle would be the Stang GT since it does have some rear passenger room.

• They both look great
• They both sound great
• They are equally fast in a straight line
• The Z handles better
• The Z is more reliable (assumption)
• The GT has rear passenger room
• The Z probably will have better resale value
• Neither has a particularly refined interior or luxury amenities

Mustang. Equally fast, slightly less handling, more room, and cheaper. Mustangs and 350zs are pretty reliable cars and neither has a great interior if that concerns you.

I would say the Mustang because since the 350z had lots of problems

The Nissan is likely to be a more reliable car long term.

it depends on what kind of person you are, think what you are going to be doing with the car. hot roding all the time and wanting american muscle or just wanting a sports car that you can feel spin the tires in anytime you want and still have a everyday driver. its all up to the way you want to be driving it
