Technically you COULD. but the cost to do so would be astronomical compaired to buying the car with it installed from the factory. STRONGLY recommend against further thought of doing such a swap.

No. There are major differences CVT even has a different bolt pattern on the engine. As always buy the very best car you can afford it will be worth more at trade in. And the added features will make driving more enjoyable. Financed over 6 or 7 years prices for the Altima SE or SL don't look all that high.

You could have this added post purchase, but why would you? If this is something you want in the car, order it that way. Otherwise you'll have to incur a huge expense of switching out your transmission
