I have a 1999 Mercedes Benz 300E and when pressing the horn it does nothing.

I put a meter on the horn relay and it was putting out 12 volts whether I had the horn pressed in or out. I found this to be strange because I would think it would only put out the 12V when the horn was pressed, and should put out nothing if the horn was not pressed, but that was not the case.
I have replaced the horn relay and that did not solve the problem.

I have been trying to find a fuse for the horn and I have not found a fuse that directly relates to the horn. If anyone knows the location of the horn fuse, please advise.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might resolve this issue. Also, If anyone has any idea what other items I need to check to troubleshoot this problem, it would be greatly appreciated,

I have an 06 R350, which is under warranty. The gear-selector is made of cheap and flimsy material, and snapped when I moved it. Mercedes is saying that it's my fault, but I believe it's theirs, due to their making the gear-selector so cheaply and weak. What process can I use to appeal their refusal, and how would you recommend my handling the situation, and finding a way to get them to pay?

thank you.

I consider myself to be quite knowledgable on cars but for some reason I have always stood away from the mercedez categories.
What is Braubus?
What's Kompressor?
What's AMG?
Can someone please explain?

This car was made somewhere between 1953 and 1962. It is faded yellow and it has been sitting vacant in front of my grandma's house for as long as I can remember. From what I know it does not run, and I don't know what it needs to get it to run. Just curious to see if there are any collectors that know its approximate value if anything. Here is the "ponton" website on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W120

My father wants a Mercedes sedan. I have a 1990 300E that is like new (80K original miles) and has been fabulous. But he wants something newer. Consumer Reports gives all the new models such bad reviews that I hate to get him into a problem car. Our local Mercedes dealer manager says stay away from the ones 2000 and newer. So late 90's???
THANKS!

My uncles owns a BMW 7 series, and swears to himself that he will never ever buy a Mercedes Benz S-class, because since the merger, Chrysler products have gone up, and MB products have gone down. What do you think? It is now obvious that BMW is the better German car. tiss tiss tiss MB.
