This car was made somewhere between 1953 and 1962. It is faded yellow and it has been sitting vacant in front of my grandma's house for as long as I can remember. From what I know it does not run, and I don't know what it needs to get it to run. Just curious to see if there are any collectors that know its approximate value if anything. Here is the "ponton" website on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W120

It all depends on the condition. If it's a rusted out 180 sedan with lots of parts missing, then it's a part car that might be worth "something"...but if all the shiny bits are corroded and chickens are living in it and the motor is frozen shut, you don't have much.

It has some value but even totally as clean completely functional drivers with shiny paint, these cars are lucky to bring $10,000.

I wouldn't get it running. Just sell it to a dreamer. Unless it is very complete, very solid, --it's not worth the cost of restoration.

Value as a dead duck with rust or very shabby in and out? Perhaps $800 to $1,500 dollars.

I'd really need to see it to know for certain

Of course it's worth something and maybe more than something! I'm sure you can sell it the way it is to somebody who will restore it, or you can restore it yourself and then sell it (it will cost A LOT to restore.)
You can also sell it part by part. There are people looking for parts, any original parts, to use in restoration of their cars.
There are many Mercedes clubs (easy to find on the Web.) Contact them and they'll be happy to talk to you.

Sell it on eBay. As a whole car or in parts. the part will bring more $ but as a whole car it will go away fast. Good luck

It's worthless... Give it to me, and I'll dispose of it for you.
