Where is the Fuel Filter located on a 1994 Mercedes Benz E320?

It's covered underneath the car(near right-rear wheel) by a plastic, black fairing. 4 10MM plastic bolts if I remember.

my first guess, near the gas tank. The closer the problem, the easier the fix. Just a guess though.
