Lincoln

gets real bad when idle.
car has a little loss of power.
gas consumption is very high.
no excessive smoke.
cabin also has sweet smell like radiator fluid but it is faint.
i just had catalycs, 02 sensors, and mufflers replaced.
checked radiator and it is at proper level as always. radiator was replaced about 2 year ago. also replaced water pump 2 years ago.

There's alot of coolant leaking out the muffler, the people i bought it from must have put some holes in the muffler to let it leak out,Did they trick me??? I don't know but I am very pissed off. I leaks pretty good and I'm not for sure If I should try to sue them....Obviously they should have known if it is leaking as much as it is...but they didn't tell me anything.should i sue them

Have a 1994 Lincoln Towncar.....sometimes the dinging sound for the seatbelt will not go off. The only way I can stop it is to put something in the driver's door that will make the button go in to stop the dinging......would like to find out how to disconnect it without paying an arm and a leg for mechanic service.
Any ideas?

Traveling either at neighborhood or highway speeds, the tranny gives a bucking sensation, hesitaion, every few seconds you feel it jerk.
Is this something to be fixed by a fluid change or is there a sensor that would cause this?

no warning lights, the car was warmed up and running. it stalled and shut down.. can anybody think of a reason for this? note: it was cold out, but the car was fully warmed up and had a full tank of gas and no warning lights after it started again

they have warranty and they show and give you the parts with problems my question is does ne1 have any idea how much a new lincoln ls v8 engine is or i was also told that a mustang engine fits wat will b the disadvantages of doing that and how much would that b were can i look this up or if ne1 knows how much would i b able to get for the car

1989 lincoln towncar smoke apears from the passenger of the motor when my car is off also my back wheel seems to jerk as i accelrate and it makes a buckleling sound while driving whats the problem and does it cost more to fix than to keep thank you for your time i apprecaite your time and knowledge to my problem

it seems to choke for gas some times when driving,really bad up a grade. once warmed up not as bad. on cold morning I have to put cup of gas in thoat of carb to start. but not on warm days ????

When we purchased the above "gas-pig" we never received a manual. I need to find the fuse box? Simple you think, NOT REALLY!!! I need help getting the heated seats fixed and would rather my boyfriend fix it than pay a dealer a gazillion dollars, and yes, I have asked them more than once to order me a manual to solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea where the fuse box is, and please, no insulting answers cause I'm not as stupid as the question sounds!! Thanks for all the help!

I dunno if I have shocks or struts in rear 1991 lincoln continental ? I know it is air ride and something is banging when I go over the bumps on the road ! the noise is coming from the rear and I dunno if the mufler is loose or it is related to my rear suspensions and if it is how much am I gonna expect to spend ?

Like the question says above, is it worth anything? because we owned a 2003 navigator up to last year in the summer when my mom crashed it and it got totaled. my mom and my sister which was with her said a little compact car hit this giant beast and hardly got smushed in the front. she also read that the navigators had one of the worst safety ratings in their class. we also had to bring it in to the shop about every 3-4 months for electronic difficulties. my dad also hated the gas mileage on it. but i sort of liked how it was big, classy, the automatic rear door opening, 3 rows seats folding down in a push of a botton, and it drove and handled nicely. So i'm just curious what kind of improvements they made on the 2007, if any.

why do all the other countries think our cars stink? yes i actually do agree that foreign cars are better than our cars, but our cars aren't that bad. we are getting more fuel efficient, and way better at the engine and style. we are also putting in more electronics like navigation, some voice activation but not much, and we are making our cars safer. so why do people still criticize our cars?
