I was told that I had to put a reistor between the battrey and the coil so I will not burn out my coil.It is now 12 volts what is the reistor that I need to bring it down to?How many voits do I bring it down to?The last Question is,are you having a good day?Thank you

When I park the car, the rear of the car starts lowering slowly. When I turn it on, a motor comes on and slowly raises the rear back. While I drive, the motor ramdomly kicks on for a few seconds. Is fixing this going to be costly? Any advise is appreciated.

I have heard half a dozen different stories as to what became of the Lincoln Continental limo JFK was riding in when he was shot. I heard LBJ had the car pulled from service and destroyed. I also heard it was put back into service, as well as another yarn that it was stolen. One account suggests it is in a private collection while another suggests the car is in a museum.
What's the real story? If by chance its in a real museum- what percentage of it is original, datring back to Nv 1963? The rumor regarding it being in a museum also suggests the car was gutted, rebuilt and repainted.

When i push down on the accelerator the car shakes violently but stops immediatley when I stop accelerating. The harder I push down on the accelerator the more violently the car shakes.

Could this simply be a fuel filter or a fuel injection problem?

what is the easy way to change sparkplugs on a 99 linconl navigator ,cuz ican,t get the orthers on the back cylinder that is close to the firewall .if disconnect some wires or some hoses ,,will that help without messing up car?

I was curious if there was a air ride suspension kit that i could purchase that would replace the existing one and add some needed height, or maybe some type of spacer kit? Would any type of body lift work? Any or all help would be greatly apperciated.

I have a 1993 Lincoln Towncar that has a vacuum leak and when i took it to a parts store they said no one made it except the dealer but i dont really want to go to a dealer for the part, I would like to just buy a kit online and have it shipped to me or something because my other hoses and stuff arent going to last much longer... If anyone know where i could possibly find a kit or even a partial kit i would greatly appricate it oh and by the way the part that i am unable to find i do believe comes out of the intake manifold and goes inbetween the pcv valve and something else and is rubber it fits over two plastic tubes that are behind the intake valve.

I leased a 2007 Lincoln MKZ two days ago. I parked the car in my driveway which had a SMALL THIN amount of ice on ONE side of it only... The other side of the driveway was dry as a bone. When I woke up the car had rolled on its own to the bottom of the driveway into my van. If my van wasn't there it would have ended up in the street! There is a small dent but my main concern is the dealership cannot find anything wrong with it. I'm so afraid that it will happen again and someone will get hurt. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? It is a 43,000 dollar car and the dealership thinks I'm insane but I don't want to be stuck with a 3 year lease that is going to end up hurting someone!!! If I only had an idea of what could cause something like this they would check it out. Could it be a computer or GPS issue? My emergency brake was not on the first time but i put it on and it happened again. Please help!
