Also does anyone know any websites about the Lincoln Mark VIII, as in how to upgrade and such. I have a 1997 Mark VIII LSC

hy, it is not very complicated, but you need some good mechanic skills. 1- disconnect the battery first !! 2- You have to look for the sensors location before and after the catalyst, and you have to work "clean" when you are installing the new ones (no grease or cleaning solvents on the lower end) 3 - disconect the sensor connector. 4 - For removing the sensor; is recommended to have a 02 sensor socket/wrench who is a special dedicated tool (price rance between 12-20 $, but you can use an open wrench...and I think is 22 mm). Spray some penetrating lubricant or wd40 before removal.5 - install the new sensor without damaging the electrical wire , is permanently conected to sensor . Mark VIII has 4 02sensors

could have 4 sensors, and get right of entry to isn't too undesirable to them. yet greater importantly, why do you prefer to alter them? And why all 4? Do you have a respectable reason....or purely throwing money at a topic without extremely attempting to restoration it? maximum in all probability the O2's are not inflicting the undertaking you're having.

My catalog say therre is at least one before and at least one after the cat. converter.
