before you change your seal check to make sure your trunk is closing completely tight use your hand and press on the lid if it moves easy then you need to adjust the latch my moving it downward this will in turn pull the lid down tighter.this latch can come out of adjustment very easy especially if some one has slammed the trunk

Check the weather stripping around the trunk lid. A second possibility is water leaking in around the rear window. Third, look for rust through in the wheel wells.

after opening and closing the trunk so many times the tension on the lock that holds the weather strip gets weak also the rubberdose not seal properly replace it with a new one or try putting silicone in the groove of the strip first if it works you have a choice to replace or stay with the old one

Sounds like you've got a tear in your trunk lid seal somewhere. You should be able to get a replacement direct from Ford and they are really simple to install, just follow the instructions. Good Luck!

If you have a sun/moon roof, it could be the drain hoses are clogged, crimped or broken. It sounds stupid but I see it at the Lincoln dealership I work at a couple of times a month. If it's the trunk seal it should be easy to find.

Pretty simple. There is a rubber gasket around the lip. You can do a visual inspection and check for cracks or tears. If there is, then it is a pretty simple process to replace the gasket. Make sure that the ends come togethor at the back of the car.

Check to make sure that the seals around the trunk are secure. They could have deteriorated over time.

Go to Pep Boys, Auto Zone or any such auto stores. Look for door/trunk gasket and install it according to the directions. You might ask the clerk to help you find it . They have different heights/thicknesses.

Hi. If it's not the seal then check if there is a crack in your taillights. If everything is ok then your rear window does not seal properly.
