I HAVE A 88 LINCOLN THE CHARGE SYSTEM LIGHT BLINKS OFF AND ON I TOOK THE POS. BATTERY CABLE OFF WHEN WE GOT IT GOING IT STAYED RUNNING SO I DONT THINK ITS THE ALT.BUT ITS DEAD EVERY MORNING WE PUT A DIFFERENT BATT. IN IT TO WHERE SHOULD I LOOK FROM HERE?

Sounds like the alternator may be the culprit..when the alternator goes bad alot of times it will actually discharge the battery as the car is running and eventually kill it. If the alt/charge system light is on that usually means the alternator isnt putting out the right amount of voltage..this is especially noticeable at idle as you may see the light come on and flicker and then go out as you rev the engine as increasing the revs increases the amount of juice the alt. puts out.
