On the lower left corner of the radiator, just below the lower rad hose, you'll see a white plastic hex draincock. Size = 19mm.

Opening the petcock (radiator drain) or removing the lower hose and letting it drain out on the ground is an environmental no-no. Also, in most states, it's against the law. Antifreeze is highly toxic. Since it is very sweet tasting it attracts small animals, such as cats and dogs, which die a slow and agonizing death if they drink it. Also the antifreeze draining onto the ground will seep back into the local water supplies and contaminate them. Those are the reasons why it is illegal to do it. The antifreeze should be drained into a container and disposed of through your local toxic disposal unit; city, county or whatever. Another possibility for disposal is a local repair shop or quick lube shop.

If not radiator then- put on snorkel and pull off lower radiator hose to empty . Wetness is inevitable.Rinse drain area to prevent poisening then shower residue off skin. Fill radiator with 60/40 mix and top off overflow tank with pure antifreeze.Engine must run to fill but radiator coolant level fluctuate wildly till thermostat settles into "allways hot and open" flowing condition. Take care to give space to this highly volitile situation. Prepare for the worst and be patient with procedure.
