My daughter is due to attend college in Florida, and I would like to ship her car from chicago to Orlando Florida. Can anyone recommend a reputable company that is insured and charges a reasonable price. I would like it to be transported in an enclosed truck and not on a flat bed tow truck. Also what is the average cost to ship a vehicle from chicago to orlando? Thanks for your help!!

my car broke down this evening, i thought it was the battery because it wont turn on and all it makes is a click sound, But the lights, the radio, and the power locks and windows work. Everything looks normal except i think the security light didnt used to flash before, and it does when i stick the key in and turn it. Mother says it could be the starter or maybe somebody tried to steal it, or even a bump from behind might have done it. i know my Old car had a killswitch that would prevent the car from starting if it got bumped, but i dont knwo if my New car has one. Its a Pontiac 2002 Grand Am SE. anybody have any ideas??

I changed my alternator, and installed a new battery, but when i tried to start my car it woudn't start and the security light started flashing. I contacted the Cadillac dealer to get assistance on reseting the system, but they refused to help me stating that I would have to bring the car in at a price of $150 to reset the security feature. Can anybody help me!!!!!!!!!

We're looking at the fine with a cool interior and the wife seems to be excited about it. But I read reviews of door looks going out, along with the a/c, brakes, and some very major mechanical repairs that worry me. Some people swear by them, others hate em. I plan to get it checked out by my mechanic and buy a carfax history on it. But before all--should i think about buying it anyway?

I currently own a 2002 Chevy Impala and I'm considering an SUV for my next car purchase. I am rather fond of the '04 Envoy XUV (with the rear retractable roof [yay!]) and want to buy one next year. I know there aren't many, but if you own one could you tell me about your experiences (pro, cons, major/minor repairs)? I look for a smooth ride, little cab noise, and I don't want my engine to sound like a MAC truck from the inside of the vehicle.

if i turn engine off then back on it will lock up , then it will start to slip, then nothing in forward or reverse, shut it down and restart and its fine , but only for a minute, help

Error code: 0323 T-Case Lock Circuit Low
Parts Repaced: Dash Switch and 4WD Actuator

Current Symptoms:
1. Defaults to 4HI, will also switch to Auto 4WD.
2. Depressing dash buttons runs 4WD Actuator with vibrating gring noise at end of cycle.
3. Will NOT switch to 2Hi or 4Low

Hello, I am a student here in New Orleans and have a general MPG question. I have a 2003 Olds Alero 3.4L with 58,000 miles. I keep the tire psi at or around 32-34psi. I drive 90% city 5% hwy. I am getting about 225 miles to a tank or 19mpg after figuring out my mpg. This just does not sound normal. Any ideas as to why? I am not a lead foot driver, so that should not be an idea :) Thanks for your input.
