You need to a little more specific. Do you mean get out and look under the hood, if so yes. When the a/c compressor is off the pully will spin only and the clutch (the face of the pully) will not. So, when you start your caddy and the a/c is turned on the clutch should ingauge (spin) when 10 to 20 seconds of the engine starting. If the clutch does not enguage, then the a/c system will not cool and you should have it serviced by a professional since your a/c system contains the harmful r12 refrigerant to our atmospher.
