Have to go to a dealership, locksmiths CANNOT get key codes from the VIN, these codes are stored on a manufacturer database that only GM employees have access to (or whichever manufacturer it may be).

If a locksmith does get a code, he is getting it from a dealer and charging you more than the dealer would charge you. (you should be able to get it for $10 or less at the dealer)

Take the title to a GM dealer (they require proof of ownership). They can input the VIN # into the computer and cut you a new key in about a minute.

in case you dont be attentive to the code it takes the broker to maximum surprising. The broker will would desire to call a definite GM radio warm line to get a back up code to disencumber the radio.whilst executed you could put in a code of your very own or use no code. There would be a small charge.you will desire to call a broker and get a cost.some sellers will liberate for loose in case you got the truck there.superb of success.
