When i was still with my ex, he accidently backed his truck up to my car and bent my bumper and even though we are no longer together, he is still agreeing to fix my bumper but I would just prefer the money so I would like to know how much to ask for. I dont want him to pay for a brand new bumper but i also dont want the cheapest thing out there.

I was driving(in tampa area) and the car was running fine, then suddely died, rpms dropped coasted off road.... Anyway... after pulling over tried to restart... The engine sounded like it was starting(did crank) but it got up to 300 rpms (o3 ranger 2.4 4 inline) the died out, and would not start from t hat point on... I have been told its everything from a fuel filter, to a fuel pump(i hear a whine when i turn the key to the on postion) saying its on... , it has had no problems to this point...

I also have been told the spark plugs are bad, the throttle postioning sensor is messed up, it goes on and on, could anyone give me some id eas here, i don't have much cash, and i need this thing to make money as my job is far away.. thanks in advance....

I have a 4 cylinder 2000 ford focus zx3 and today i went out to start my car and it was trying to turn over and you could hear it kind of reving but wouldn't actually turn over. I finally got it to turn over after about 2 minutes of trying. Then i drove it about 3 miles and back home without shutting it off. I parked it in the garage and left it sit for about 10 minutes and it started back up fine. It is a brand new battery, which is connected good with no corrosion. Do you think this could be that my starter or fuel pump is going out. It drove completely normal but i just want to get ahead of it and fix it before it does go out completely. All the fluids are good and just had an oil change a few weeks ago. It is kind of cold out today but only like 28 degrees, it was running fine when it was zero degrees. Any help would be appreciated

UK - I have a ford escort mk6 and one of the front calipers is sticking / siezing. Is it easy to repair the caliper rather than buy a new / reconditioned one? How can you service the piston as i assume this is what is sticking.

I drove 3 hours there and back to the Ford dealer in Las Vegas(none in Pahrump, NV). I called them and they said, come back again, but we just installed a fuzeable link and it's probably not our problem and we'll charge you to fix your "new" problem. Not good.

What can I check to get the speed control working again?

OK I have a Chilton's, I got the Blower Motor loose, I can pull it foward, but becasue of where it is, I can't actually get it out to put the new one in. The manual just says remove it. I found another place and it says just turn it and it will come out but ther flange around the motor is too big.

I just bought a 1978 Ford f-150 ext cab 4x4 off of a buddy for practically nothing.The vehicle runs and drives ok and the 4x4 drivetrain works.Should i just resell it for more or part it out piece by piece?? Its in average shape for being 30 years old.It has some body issues but ive seen worse.Has a 351m/400 engine,good c-6 tranny and a Ford 9" in the rear.What would you do with it?I dont really need it.

I dont care if your a Ford guy or a Chevy guy or a Dodge guy for this matter.This isnt about brand names.I just want to see what people would do to make a little money.Thanks.

Occaisionally, when I'm going round a right hand bend (particularly Roundabouts), the brake warning light comes on momentarily and then goes off.
Does this indicate a low brake fluid level?

My problem has got slowly worse over the last couple of months,the revs went up and down slightly,then it started stalling and now it is pulling back on me very badly.Also when i restart it after it stalled there is a smell of petrol.Can anyone help.PEASE

OK..long story but im looking into a new mustang..im looking at getting a 2004 GT but i want to know if getting an automatic GT just slaughters the power compared to a 5 speed. i know that automatics are slower than 5 speed, but i want to know if it like KILLS the power if i got an automatic....ima car knowledge noob if you havnt figured that out
