Occaisionally, when I'm going round a right hand bend (particularly Roundabouts), the brake warning light comes on momentarily and then goes off.
Does this indicate a low brake fluid level?
cheers

Probably. Get it checked or you could look yourself.

That it does, open the hood and add some brake fluid. Occasionally Fords (like my escape) from 2000 forward will have a brake fluid cap problem. If you live in an area of extreme heat, it will crack in places and spill out, causing the light. Nto to mention sometimes it just gets used up. I'd check my lines just to be safe that you aren't leaking fluid. You can do this by sitting stationary and pumping the breaks for a couple of minutes. Then get out and look under the car for fluid and under hte hood for spray. Make sure to turn the car off first...

Most of the people which have answered your question are right it is a brake fluid problem. You are loosing fluid and its getting to the point that when you go around corners the sensor doesnt detect any fluid. is your car manual if it is a common fault is the clutch pipe. easy to do... other faults could be brake pipes, clutch master. Worst cases would be the master cyl itself or the clutch slave which is located inside the gear box if this is whats casuing your problem you might need a new clutch.

Mine was doing this a couple of weeks ago Mike.....thank god it was only the brake fuid rather than a very expensive problem!

Just top up the fluid and it should go off!
