I just bought a 1978 Ford f-150 ext cab 4x4 off of a buddy for practically nothing.The vehicle runs and drives ok and the 4x4 drivetrain works.Should i just resell it for more or part it out piece by piece?? Its in average shape for being 30 years old.It has some body issues but ive seen worse.Has a 351m/400 engine,good c-6 tranny and a Ford 9" in the rear.What would you do with it?I dont really need it.
I dont care if your a Ford guy or a Chevy guy or a Dodge guy for this matter.This isnt about brand names.I just want to see what people would do to make a little money.Thanks.

I would sell it cause those pre-1980 Ford 4x4's are worth lots of money, I would sell it for around $1500 or so.

Sounds like you have a great mudding truck. The thing about them older trucks is there very tuff and most parts for them are cheap and in the end its up to you.

Some people love that style, I'd sell it whole, make someone a decent 4x4 work truck.

Parts it out. Go on ebay and sell for parts or whole.

More than likely you will get more money if you part it out. But then you are stuck with what is left over.
