I have always been a big fan of Borla, that company has always been good my business, Whether its Borla, Flowmaster, Corsa, or whoever, it just comes down to personal choice and trial and error in some cases, as to what you are looking for and prefer. The above mentioned are all good companies. If you're looking to add performace and be a little loud at the same time (and I agree ... mustang, t/a, camaro, vette whatever they need to be loud, the neighbors will just have to deal with it.. lol ) but I would install high flow cat(s) whenever you change your exhaust if you are looking for the performance aspect too, as well as headers, but if you just want to get loud, I'd go Borla.

flowmaster makes two kits for thwe mustang. one is the american thunder system which uses a two chamber muffler. great sound and performance, but is the louder of the two kits. the other is called force II which will use three chamber mufflers. quieter than the AT, and flows the same, so HP figures will be the same. the most bang for the $$$ exhaust mod you can do to a msuatng is a catless h or x pipe.

corsa, magnaflow, borla and most all others are pretty damn loud compared to a flowmaster force II system.

Instead of Loud look for a performance exhaust they will get loud only when it is needed and it will be quieter when you are in the areas where it needs to be quiet. and you get performance.
Loud doesn't always mean berrter performance. NASCAR has exhausts that are tuned for performance, not just loud.
I have to agree that loud exhausts are driven by the NOOB that also has their driving lights on just to look cool.

Personally, I'm partial to American Thunder, by Flowmaster. It's loud, but has a nice tone.

Why get a loud exhaust? It's so uncool, and unneighourly. Anytime a car with a loud pr*t exhaust goes by I just think it's a d*ck driving it.. why would you wnt to be thought of like that?

check out borla, they have a couple nice exhaust systems, or american thunder by flowmaster...they both sound mean and deep. bassani exhaust is really loud, especially with straight pipes (no muffler)
